Applications for Mid Suffolk District Council’s Pride in Your Place grant have reopened, offering funding to projects that bolster community pride and celebrate the heritage of towns and villages across the district.

Eligible projects include but are not limited to:

      Planting projects

      The development of local history, heritage and culture projects

      Purchase of ‘village signs’, to create a sense of arrival and place

      Purchase of seating and benches for community spaces

      Maintenance/enhancement to public open spaces (ie refurbishing noticeboards/benches)

      Purchase of equipment to enable maintenance to open spaces

      Arranging Community Litter Picks
