The new path infront of the three front houses of Tiller Close is a footpath put there specifically to give pedestrians a safer route up to the end of Richer Road. Some people are now cycling along it. This is not what it's there for, it is a footpath only, not a cycle path. It's not even big enough for most bikes so please leave it for pedestrians only.

Mid Suffolk District Council’s £50,000 Sustainable Communities Food Fund will
back community-based food and drink businesses and projects.
There will be a particular focus on small food producers and makers, cultural
venues, pubs and food banks. Funding could also help small-scale and start-up
primary food producers - such as fruit and vegetable growers, bakers and
artisanal producers.
There is a Food Summit planned at the Food Museum in Stowmarket on 19
October.

Suffolk is currently scheduled to move from its existing two-tier local government structure (county, district and borough councils) to three new unitary councils, with implementation planned for April 2028 and elections for the new authorities expected in May 2027. SCC has decided to proceed with a legal challenge against the Government's decision regarding the proposed reorganisation. The decision follows an announcement made in May that the council intended to challenge the legal basis of the Government's plans.
